The Deveau mentorship program was a great way for me to branch out and meet new people. It is a safe space to be yourself and learn about valuable teachings for not only university/exams but our culture as well with the diverse food, music and lessons. It is an incredible opportunity, and I am thankful I get to be a part of something so great!
– African Nova Scotian student

It creates a positive atmosphere where I was able to connect with other students who face similar problems as me.  It felt empowering knowing I wasn’t alone experiencing different personal challenges that impacted my academics.
