The StFX Open House is your opportunity to discover what it's like to live and learn on Canada's most beautiful campus. There's no better way to imagine yourself as a future student than to experience StFX in person.

We have an interactive, fun-filled day planned for you and your parents/supporters where you will:

  • Learn about academic programs, student services, and residence options
  • Attend faculty presentations
  • Explore campus and take a guided tour of residences, classrooms, and student spaces. All 1st year students are guaranteed a room in residence!
  • Enjoy a delicious free brunch at Morrison Hall, our primary dining facility. Brunch is available throughout the morning with reservation times on the hour from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Reservation times will be on the registration form.

Early and On-the-Spot Admissions

Open House attendees are eligible for early or on-the-spot admissions to most undergraduate programs* with no application fee. Don't forget to bring a physical copy of your transcript with you.

Why apply early to StFX?

1. Skip the fees and the waiting around.  Complete your application now and we will waive the application fee and fast-track your admissions decision process.

2. Priority placement in residence. The sooner you receive our offer, the sooner you can confirm and apply for a spot in residence. Students who are admitted early get first pick of the best residence room assignments.

3. More chances to win. If you receive an acceptance offer and confirm your seat before Thursday October 26 (11:59 PM AT), you will receive five additional entries for our major prizes ($5000 towards your residence fees, or a free meal plan).
