Biography

Graduated in 1999 with Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree - St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Graduated in 2008 with Masters in Nursing Degree - University of Southern Queensland, Queensland, Australia.
Practice area includes Critical Care, Acute Care - Medical Surgical Nursing of Adults.
Began teaching at Rankin School of Nursing in 2004 as Adult Med/Surg- Nurse Educator.
Course Professor of NURS 209.12 & NURS 209.20 - Introduction to Health Assessment and Clinical Nursing Practice.
Nurse Educator for the students completing NSHIS - Documentation of MediTech/PCS Training, and Nova Stat Strip Monitor Training.
Special interests include Acute Care, Community Nursing, Immunizations, and Simulation in Nursing Education.
