Dear X-Ring recipients  and Fall Convocation graduates,

I write to provide an update following the decisions made by the university regarding this year’s X-Ring and Fall Convocation ceremonies. I am pleased to announce that we will be returning to in-person ceremonies for both X-Ring and Fall Convocation! Please read below for details setting out the expectations and requirements for each ceremony and know that they will be conducted in complete compliance with the protocols for gatherings as prescribed by Nova Scotia’s Health Authority.

X-Ring Ceremony, December 3rd   2 p.m.

Once again, on December 3rd we will have parents, family members and supporters on campus to celebrate your achievements. Since members of the public are allowed, proof of full vaccination along with a government issued ID card or passport will be required for all attending the ceremony, including students. We will have viewing rooms available on campus and will be creating an online registration system for family members and supporters. Details will be finalized in the coming weeks so please watch your inboxes.

Fall Convocation, December 4th, 3 p.m.

Parents, family members and other supporters are invited to campus to celebrate your academic achievements. Again, proof of full vaccination along with a government issued ID card or passport will be required for all attending the ceremony. This includes students. More information with event specifics will be available in the coming weeks for students and families attending Fall Convocation. Please watch your inboxes.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we plan to safely bring back these important ceremonies. We will send along important ceremony updates for both events in the coming weeks, so please be sure to read each email thoroughly.

We look forward to celebrating your accomplishments on December 3rd and December 4th.

Hail and Health!
