Protagoras was one of the most important of the philosophers before the period of Socrates. He was known for his philosophical relativism. Plato considered him so important that his major dialogue, Protagoras, was an exposition of the Sophistical position Plato attributed to the philosopher. This lecture by Prof. Al-Maini will explore Protagoras' political ideas. This is a lecture intended for a general audience; all are welcome.
