As disinformation becomes increasingly common, finding reliable information on the open internet is a skill in itself. At the same time, everyone has a responsibility to develop critical thinking skills and to avoid spreading unreliable information.

This interactive workshop presents the current state of fake news and introduces you to the most effective search strategies to help you place information within the context of its creation, helping you to get at the truth of the matter and develop your skills as a researcher.

This workshop will be held in-person in Room 202 of the Library.
